I watched a short film on Media Storm.com, it is called The Party by Eric Maierson, this video illustrates the unusual connection between a middle aged man and a 15 year old girl. The story takes place at a company party, where the man goes into the basement and finds the girl smoking a joint. He joins her and they start discussing the problems in their lives. The films plot develops into confusion, loneliness, and desperation of two generations.
I think this film portrayed this unsatisfied need of young people and old people wanting to be loved and how neglected they feel in their lives. To me this is important because there are many miscommunications and you can't always confide in everyone. It's amazing when you can trust someone with your thoughts and feelings and they feel the same way, no matter the age or ethnicity.
